3d raster graphics software and pixels offers the capability to represent solid surfaces. While I usually create solid surfaces, I still find the graphic quality of lines has an appeal to me. It reminds me of a time when there were no computers. Perhaps a sense of an artist who does it all by hand. No code or parameters to set. Just a spark from the brain flowing through the muscles of the arm and hand with a tactile feel of a mark on paper.
There are some differences here from a conventional drawing. The lines are in a 3d perspective space of light. While all of the lines are the same width, their distance from the viewer makes some lines appear thin or fuzzy. The lines moves through the vertices of an unseen object which I designed. An invisible world space of color determines the color of the lines.
